Broker stop

Stop the day at your number, not your firm's.

Turn it on, lock your plan before the open, and PropClamp writes its session loss limit into Tradovate's own auto-liquidation setting, for every account. Tradovate holds it, even with PropClamp closed.

Opening at launch Built, and proven on the founder's funded account on September 17, 2026. No one can switch it on until its agreement is published.

Works with prop accounts on Tradovate only, for now.

  2. PropClampWrites it into TradovateInto the daily-loss auto-liquidation setting of each account with a locked plan, then reads it back.
  3. TradovateHolds it all sessionAt the limit, Tradovate flattens and locks the account, with PropClamp open or closed.

How it works Opening at launch

The stop is Tradovate's own. Your plan sets the number.

It is Tradovate's daily-loss auto-liquidation setting. PropClamp only fills in the number, from the plan you locked while you were calm.

  • Set while you're calmThe number comes from the plan you locked before the open, not from you at 10:15 after two losses.
  • Written for you every morningNo risk-settings menu, no typing a limit in the rush before the open.
  • Never raised mid-sessionOnce your plan is locked, PropClamp won't write a bigger number.
  • Never over a tighter limitIf you've set a smaller number in Tradovate yourself, PropClamp leaves it there.

The proof Opening at launch

It fired on a real funded account.

The founder's own account, on September 17, 2026. When the day's loss reached the plan's number, Tradovate flattened and locked the account on its own servers. PropClamp only watched.

Past the limit$15

  1. Before the openThe locked plan's $330 stood in Tradovate's own daily-loss setting.
  2. 9:20 CTThe day's loss reached it. Tradovate locked the account and began to flatten it.
  3. 140 ms laterFlat, on Tradovate's own servers.
  4. 2 s laterPropClamp saw the account flat. It watched; Tradovate acted.

Market exits land at or slightly past the limit: $15 past, here. The firm's own daily limit, much further out, never came into play.

In the app Opening at launch

One signature, then one switch.

It lives in Settings › Risk plan. You sign its agreement once, and it covers every account you connect, now and later. After that it is a switch, on or off.

Turning it off stops future writes. A limit already in Tradovate may stay there, so check it in Tradovate.

Settings lock · optional Opening at launch

A PIN on the switch, held by someone you trust.

Lock the switch with a 4-digit PIN and give the PIN to a friend or family member. Turning the broker stop off then takes their PIN, or a recovery that takes at least 24 hours.

Four digits, never displayed
PropClamp stores a keyed fingerprint of the PIN, not the digits, and never displays the PIN, to you or to anyone else.
Guessing pauses it
Five wrong PINs pause attempts for 15 minutes. Repeated pauses require recovery.
Recovery is slow on purpose
It takes your PropClamp password, at least 24 hours, and then a later session with your accounts flat and no plan locked yet. It removes only the lock.

What the PIN can't stop

It guards PropClamp's switch, not Tradovate. You can still withdraw PropClamp's access at Tradovate or remove the login in Settings › Connections. Where your account allows it, you can also change the limit in Tradovate's own risk settings. It adds a deliberate step between you and the switch. It is not a wall.

Before you turn it on Opening at launch

Whether your firm allows it is your firm's rule.

On a prop account your firm runs the account's risk settings, and it may refuse a limit written this way. PropClamp says nothing about any firm's rules, so check yours first.

  • Off by defaultOff until you turn it on in Settings › Risk plan › Broker auto-liquidation.
  • At or just past your numberTradovate's exit is a market order, so it fills at or slightly past the limit, and further past it in a fast market.
  • One setting, never an orderPropClamp reads your accounts, and writes one setting when you turn the broker stop on. It never places, changes or cancels an order.

Everything PropClamp can and can't do with your account

The broker stop Opening at launch is not part of the trial yet. The trial is for everything that works today: a plan locked before the open, Quick Size, the cooldown clock after a loss, and the Record.
