The short version
PropClamp holds what it needs to run the product for you. If you allow optional website analytics, we also measure how people find the website, create an account and begin checkout. There is no tracking for advertisers, and nothing is sold. Your trading data is not sent to Google Analytics.
What is stored
Your account details: an email address and an authentication record, so you can sign in.
Your broker connection: the tokens that let PropClamp read your brokerage account and, only with separate feature authorization, submit the disclosed daily-loss setting, held so the authorized function can continue while you are not using the app. You can revoke them at any time. With them, PropClamp keeps the user ID Tradovate gives your login and the name of the organisation that issued it, which on a prop account is your firm.
What PropClamp reads from your broker: your accounts and their names, account balances, your drawdown limit and the values derived from it, positions, and completed fills. These are stored as dated readings so a figure can always show where it came from and how old it is.
What you tell it: your name and username if you add them, your firm’s rules as you enter them, the plans you lock, and any trade you record manually, with its optional note.
Optional broker protection records: the accepted agreement version and text, name, authorization covering current and future connected accounts, the account and plan snapshot at signing, acceptance time and session, protected settings changes, failed attempts, and recovery requests. The settings PIN is held as a keyed verifier, not as readable digits. Passwords entered to verify a sensitive action are used for authentication and are not added to these records.
Operational records: whether the background reader ran and what failed when it did not. A record names the login and account involved, and can quote the figures a failure concerned, such as a daily-loss setting that could not be written.
What is not stored
PropClamp never sees or stores your broker password — the connection is made through your broker’s own authorisation flow.
Card details are handled by our payment processor and never reach PropClamp’s servers.
Why it is stored
To show you your own account state and your own record, to work out what you can lose today, and to keep the background reader running so your record does not have holes in it when you were not looking.
It is not used to build a profile of you, and it is not used to train anything.
Who else touches it
Our hosting and database providers, our email provider, and our payment processor, all acting on our instructions and bound to keep it confidential. Your broker, because that is where the readings come from.
Google Analytics also processes optional website measurements if you allow analytics. Windsor processes Stripe reporting for our private marketing dashboard. Otherwise, nobody else, unless the law requires it — and we will tell you if that happens, unless we are forbidden from doing so.
How long it is kept
Your record is kept while your account is open, because a trading record is only useful over time. Close your account and we delete your personal data and your trading record within 30 days, except anything we are legally required to retain, such as payment records.
You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, at support@propclamp.com.
Optional website analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you allow analytics on this browser. It uses cookies to measure public page visits, campaign sources, account creation and checkout starts, together with technical information such as browser and device type. A checkout start is not a paid purchase.
We do not send emails, passwords, broker identifiers, trading figures or card details in these measurements. We send only named marketing events, public page names, campaign labels and the selected monthly or annual plan. Advertising storage and personalization are disabled.
If you allow analytics, we also keep the latest tagged campaign source, medium, campaign, content and search-term labels in this browser for up to 30 days. At checkout, we attach those labels to the Stripe checkout and subscription for private reporting through Windsor. We do not copy full URLs, emails, trading records or card details into these labels. Untagged visits and other devices may remain unattributed.
You can decline without affecting your account or the product. Change your choice using the controls on this page at any time. Declining stops future collection and removes this browser’s campaign labels and this site’s Google Analytics cookies; it does not delete measurements or checkout labels already received by Google or Stripe. Analytics cookies are configured to expire after 90 days. This optional measurement is separate from the product records described above.
Security, honestly stated
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is restricted to what the application needs, and broker tokens are held so that only the service can use them. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if a breach affects your data.
