Your account, your call
It reads your account. Every trade is yours.
You connect your own Tradovate login through Tradovate’s own sign-in. PropClamp reads your accounts, and writes one setting when you turn the broker stop on. It never places, changes or cancels an order. Broker stop: Opening at launch
Works with prop accounts on Tradovate only, for now.
Everything it can and can’t do with your login.
It reads
Balances and the trailing floor, open positions, and every completed fill, straight from Tradovate. You type the stop. It fills in the rest.
It writes one settingOpening at launch
The broker stop: your locked plan’s session loss limit, written into Tradovate’s own auto-liquidation. Off unless you turn it on.
It never
Trades for you, moves money, or widens a limit your firm set. It blocks no order at your broker. Every trade is yours.
The line is drawn in PropClamp’s code
On PropClamp’s server, every request about your accounts passes one check. It lets reads through, and the one setting above. Anything else is refused before it is sent, and PropClamp has no code for placing, changing or cancelling an order.
The token Tradovate issues when you sign in never reaches your browser. It stays on the server, in a table no signed-in user can read, you included.
The one write, up close Opening at launch
- Off until you turn it on in Settings › Risk plan › Broker auto-liquidation.
- Once the day is locked, PropClamp won’t write a bigger number.
- Tradovate holds it, even with PropClamp closed. Market exits land at or slightly past the limit.
- Whether your firm allows it is your firm’s rule.
PropClamp blocks nothing at your broker. It shows the plan you locked, starts the cooldown clock after a loss, and tells you when the day is done. Following it is your call. The broker stop, once it opens, lets Tradovate hold your limit for you. Opening at launch
Where it works
Built for prop accounts on Tradovate.
You connect your own Tradovate login, and PropClamp reads the prop accounts on it: funded or evaluation, one account or a group of them. Your firm’s rules stay your firm’s. PropClamp sizes from the buffer your account’s floor leaves and the plan you lock, and never above a contract limit you enter for your firm.
One platform
Works with prop accounts on Tradovate only, for now.
Not affiliated with Tradovate or any prop firm.
Why sizing starts in micros
One NQ at a 10-point stop risks $200. So PropClamp sizes in MNQ and MES first, and NQ and ES unlock for funded groups once the buffer can carry them: up to one per account at $5,000, one more per $3,000 after. Evaluations stay in micros.
Your data
Your record is yours. So is deleting it.
What it stores
Mainly: your email, and your name and username if you add them. Your groups and the firm rules you enter, locked plans, recorded trades and day results, and the balances and P&L it read. For each Tradovate login you connect, a token, the user ID Tradovate gives it, and the name of the firm that issued it. Your subscription’s billing status, and a log of what the background reader couldn’t do.
If you use the broker stop, the agreement you sign and, with a PIN, a keyed fingerprint of it, never the digits. Opening at launch
Never your Tradovate password. You type that on Tradovate’s own sign-in page, and PropClamp never sees it.
Who can read it
You can read your own data and no one else’s. The database enforces that on every table the app can reach (row-level security), not just the screens.
PropClamp’s server reads it too: that is how your trades are recorded while the app is closed.
So do the companies PropClamp runs on, each for its own part: hosting and the database, email, and payments, on PropClamp’s instructions.
Deleting it
In Settings › Profile › Delete account, type your email to confirm. Your groups, locked plans, recorded trades, whole record and connected Tradovate logins are erased, and any subscription ends. It can’t be undone. There’s no export button, so ask support for a copy before you delete.
To remove just one Tradovate login, use Settings › Connections. Its recorded trades stay.
When it can’t read something
An unknown is never shown as $0.
PropClamp shows what it read, and says plainly what it couldn’t.
Couldn’t check everything
If PropClamp couldn’t read enough to check one of the plan’s limits, the day is recorded as Couldn’t check everything, never as Plan kept, and it doesn’t extend your streak. A break it can prove still counts as Broke plan.

orbuffer not read
A figure it couldn’t read shows as a dash, or says it wasn’t read. It is never filled in as $0.
Your 10:04 AM MNQ trade hasn’t priced yet, so there’s no total.
One trade without a price leaves the day without a total, instead of a total that is wrong.
Tradovate not read since 10:12 AM
When Tradovate stops answering, the live session says when it last read your accounts.
7 days free, then $19.99 a month. Card required — cancel from Settings any time before day 7 and you are not charged.
