Your buffer is your balance above your firm’s floor, as Tradovate reports it. Your session loss limit is sized from it and your plan.
If Tradovate doesn’t report an account’s drawdown, Start the day says “Buffer not read” and won’t size a plan with it. You never type a floor in.

Traders use PropClamp with evaluation and funded accounts at prop firms that run on Tradovate.

My firm is on Tradovate. Will it work?
If your prop account is on Tradovate and Tradovate reports its drawdown, PropClamp reads it the same way. Your first Start the day shows you: a buffer, or “Buffer not read”.
Does it work with other platforms?
No. PropClamp reads Tradovate and nothing else, so an account on another platform can’t be read or sized.
Can I connect more than one login?
Yes. Connect each Tradovate login you trade, and group your accounts at each firm in Settings. Each group gets its own plan: one funded group a day, and evaluation groups beside it.
Does PropClamp see my Tradovate password?
No. You type it on Tradovate’s own sign-in page. PropClamp keeps the token Tradovate issues, never your password.
